Sayed Humayon Najafizafa

 

Sayed Humayon Najafizada was born in Kabul, grew up in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan (his favorite place), and received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Balk in 2007. He then began his master’s degree and graduated from Bangalore University’s economics department in 2010.

He worked in Balkh province for ten years in various fields. In 2011, he began his career as a Business Development Services Officer with the World Bank-funded Afghanistan Rural Development Program (AREDP), where he assisted around 100 small and medium-sized businesses with business plans and operational plans. In this program, he was promoted to provincial manager in 2015. Simultaneously, he was lecturing to students at a private university in Mazar-e-Sharif.

In 2018 and 2019, he worked as a regional manager for the Women’s Economic Empowerment program.

After fall of Kabul he migrated to Turkey and is an active member of Crying Voices of Afghanistan.
